Over the years at First Baptist, ministers have embraced and taught Dr. James Fowler’s Stages of Faith. Dr. Fowler taught at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and introduced a scientific mechanism to faith. Similar to stages of development (think Piaget or Erikson), faith can and should develop as we age. Below is a snapshot of Fowler’s work.
