Overview
Lent is a dark and beautiful season. Dark because in it we stare face to face with the sinfulness and destructiveness into which humanity seems to constantly fall. Beautiful because in it we are reminded time and again that God is faithful and the only sure place we have to stand is on the promises God has made. Throughout Lent, we will explore these OT texts, in which God draws humanity further into the promise of deliverance and new creation.
