Overview

Even when facing the certainty of the cross, Jesus modeled the only appropriate attitude for a believer as he prayed: "Not my will, but Your will be done."  Knowing and doing God's will is certainly not always easy, but it is always best! Between now and Lent, our sermon series will focus on what the Bible declares to be God's will. If Jesus' own attitude seems beyond our attainment, then perhaps the prayer of a major league baseball player (Bobby Richardson) will fit: "O God, Your will. Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing else. Amen."
