It takes many hands (and brains and bodies) to help make our church do all the things it does! We wouldn’t be able to pull off our ministries and programs without our church members. Each week, our youth group spends the first part of their time together catching up on their week and enjoying time together. We love to have something for them to eat during that time. If you would be willing to provide food for about 20-25 people, you can click the picture to the left to sign up!
Rise Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization that provides nutritious meals to schools, senior living facilities, and communities in need around the world. On Saturday, September 9, from 10am-12pm, we will be participating in a local Rise Against Hunger meal packing event along with 15 other churches from the surrounding areas. Our goal is to pack at least 25,000 meals in 2 hours as we gather in the cafeteria at Kate Collins Middle School. You can sign up for this event on the paper sign ups at the church or by clicking the graphic to the left.
Our nursery numbers are growing! Which is so wonderful! But it also means that we are looking for folks who would be willing to serve in the nursery on Sunday mornings. Our goal is to get a team of 8-12 members so that folks are only needing to serve every 2-3 months. We are looking for folks to work with our paid nursery worker during the Sunday School hour and the worship time.
